My Museum Stories is an on-line exhibition space set up to present personal responses to museum objects, places and collections. In contrast to traditional museum sites that impart information about objects and collections, the focus is firmly on showcasing the visitor experience. It’s about what visitors see, think and take away when they visit museums.
The first entries in the museum are my own responses to five particular objects in specific museums. I hope to augment this over time, with more of my own stories and through documenting the experiences of others.
